Once you light a backflow incense cone and place it on the burner, the incense starts to release its fragrant smoke. However, unlike regular incense, backflow incense smoke is denser than air. This means that instead of rising up, it falls down in swirls and twists, creating a beautiful dance of smoke. The smoke flows through the hole in the burner and gracefully descends over the object below, eventually pooling at the bottom.

Please note: In order to create the smoke cascade effect you will need to use backflow incense cones (available separately). Always use a heat proof mat for safety during use.

This ceramic Backflow Incense Burner is specially designed to create smoke that cascades downwards, pouring dramatically down over the tower with a stunning effect. The burner measures 12cm x 7cm x 6cm.

Once you have lit your incense cone, it will begin to smoke, the incense is heavier than air and it will fall dramatically in swirls and twists, through the hole in the backflow burner and down over the item, to pool at the bottom. It is incredible to watch and very relaxing.
